A. Ordering
1. How do I place an order?
Click the “Place an order” button at the top right corner of your screen. Then follow the easy step-by-step instructions. Please make sure to enter your coupon or promotional code when prompted.
2. What are Split Panels? How do I make them?
“Split Panels” is to break one photo into multiple canvases or panels. When viewed together, they reproduce the entire picture. Usually it can be done in 2 or more splits.
Once you upload your image, we’ll do the calculations and image manipulations necessary to create successful Split Panels.
3. What are wall displays? How do I make them?
With wall displays, you can order multiple images on multiple canvases for a special price. There are twelve different groupings available. Each create a unique display. When you select the wall display option, you’ll choose between twelve configurations.
4. Can I convert a color image into black and white or sepia?
In the “Select Effect” section, you’ll have the option to convert your color images into either Black & White images or Sepia images by selecting Black & White or Sepia option from the drop down menu.
To convert your image, prepare your file like any other photo. Our artists will make sure your canvas looks sharp and rich, as if it was originally photographed that way.
5. What’s the thickness of the wooden stretcher bar?
The standard thickness of the wooden stretcher bar is ¾” that is about 2cm thick for small prints and for bigger prints a 1.5” thick wooden bar is recommended.
6. What goes on the sides of my canvas?
Unlike photographs, canvases are three-dimensional. The sides of your canvas can either be an extension of your image or a solid color or you can leave white color as it is. It’s entirely up to your choice.
The Gallery Wrap option allows the edges of your image to continue onto the sides of your canvas. If your image is too tightly cropped, just let us know. We’ll use a combination of techniques to achieve a natural extension, at no extra charge.
If your image is very closely cropped, then the edge of your canvas will have a modified image wrap. Our artists create an extension of your image that uses the same colors from the face of the canvas to simulate an image wrap without compromising the composition of the original image.
You can also choose a solid color for the sides of your image. Black and White is always an option. Or we can isolate a color that’s featured in your image.
7. How do I hang my canvas?
For ease of hanging we include hanging hardware with each canvas we send out. Type of hanger depends on the size of the canvas and current stock.
8. What size can my canvas be?
We can create any size canvas, from 8” x 12” to 40” x 60”. Dimensions must be in whole inch increments.
B. Image Preparation
1. What if something is wrong with my image or order?
We review every order before processing. If something is a miss, a representative from our customer service team will call you to discuss your order. After discussing with you, our production team makes the necessary changes and will mail it to you for your approval. Once you approve the photograph, the process of printing takes place.
2. Can you crop and prepare my image?
If you would like, we will artistically crop your image to work with the proportions of the canvas size you’ve selected. Simply provide us with a detailed description of your ideal cropping in the comments section of your order form. If the image won’t work, we’ll call you with an alternative solution. When you send your image, be sure to assign the profile that you did your image manipulation in. Hi-res JPEGs using Adobe RGB are most successful.
3. Can I do all the cropping and prep myself?
If you have experience with photo editing and prefer to complete the final cropping and file preparation yourself, simply send us a 150 dpi JPEG/TIFF at final print size. See the diagrams below for the dimensions of each stretcher bar thickness if you wish to set up an image wrap. Be sure to assign the profile that you did your image manipulation in. Adobe RGB is preferred.
What are the image guidelines for a thin gallery wrap?
Thin stretcher bars are .75” thick. Your file should be 1.5” larger in both dimensions than the face of the canvas. For example, for a 16” x 20” canvas, the image should be 17.5” x 21.5”.
What are the image guidelines for a thick gallery wrap?
Thick stretcher bars are 1.5” thick. Your file should be 3.25” larger in both dimensions than the face of the canvas.
C. Shipping
1. When will my order ship?
Typically canvases take four to seven business days to print before allowing additional time for shipping. This shipping time is an estimation and not a guarantee. Larger canvases and large quantity orders may take longer to produce. We’ll do everything we can to get your order to you when and where you need it.
2. What are my options for shipping?

We ship using DTDC, Bluedart, FexEx, Delhivery. Our domestic orders are typically shipped via DTDC, Bluedart, SpeedPost depending on the size of the canvas or frame. For all our international shipments we use FedEx.

We use a secure server for all the transactions involving sensitive information. A secure server guarantees the privacy of data transmitted through the Internet, including credit card information, through an SSL protocol that encrypts the information.
4. What should I know about copyrights?
What is a copyright?
A copyright gives its owner the right to copy, distribute, publicly display or create derivative works from the original work. A copyright also gives its owner the right to license those rights to others.
How do I know if my photograph is protected by copyright?
A photograph is copyright protected from the moment it is created. This means that even if you purchase a print or digital file from your photographer, you still need to talk to them about making reproductions from that item.
How long does a copyright last?
The current copyright term is the life of the creator – in this case, the photographer, plus an additional 70 years.
Things to remember about copyright:
1. Purchasing a print or digital file from your photographer does not mean you have purchased the copyright.
2. Unless you have permission from the photographer, you can’t copy, distribute (no scanning and sending them to others), publicly display (no putting them online), or create derivative works from photographs.
3. Professional photographers are dependent on their ability to control the reproduction of the photographs they create. Copyright infringements—reproducing photos without permission—can result in civil and criminal penalties.
4.How to make legal copies of professional photographs:
1. Contact the photographer/copyright owner.
2. Photographers are happy to discuss options for reproducing photos with you. Check both the front and back of a print for a copyright notice.
